Boca West Celebrates the Grand Opening of Its Lifestyle & Racquet Center

With four championship golf courses, three exception clubhouses, and more than 600 annual events, people might wonder if there is anything more Boca West could provide its Members. Yet, they’ve done it again. This private club community in Boca Raton has just fully overhauled its sports and fitness center to create a sprawling new amenity campus – all without any Member assessments. The grand facilities have been renamed as the Lifestyle & Racquet Center with a focus on the community’s “Live Well” lifestyle. The dramatic transformation was designed by renowned architecture firm Garcia Stromberg and land planner EDSA, Inc. with construction by T&G Constructors. Expanded Wellness Offerings

At the center of the Club expansion project, the Fitness & Wellness Center was enlarged to 72,000 square feet. A completely reconstructed valet entrance with a three-lane Porte Cochere and a multi-level water feature welcomes Members in style to a two-story lobby. Here, inviting seating areas are ideal for lounging while Members are waiting for their guests or for their next fitness class to begin. The expanded building includes enhanced Fitness and Core programs within dedicated movement studios. A start-of-the-art Pilates Studio, Spin Studio, Core Circuit Training Space with QueenX Programs, a new 3,000-square-foot Aerobics Studio, and an outdoor lawn area provide options for every fitness regimen. Aquatics Center with Five Pools

Designed and built by Weller Pools and Martin Aquatic Design, the new 96,000-square-foot Aquatics Center is an unmatched retreat for all ages. Five pools are spread throughout the area, including a four-lane lap pool, a zero-entry family pool, an adult pool with submerged lounges, a lower-level jacuzzi, and a kids’ pool with a splash pad. Each pool will be surrounded by tropical landscaping and plentiful lounge chairs and umbrellas for relaxing and enjoying the Florida sunshine.

The totally redesigned Aquatics Center boasts a fresh arrival building housing a cabana retail shop, a first aid center, and restrooms. Additionally, a new Pool House will offer showers, changing rooms, and 100 day use lockers, supplementing the existing 400 Fitness Center lockers and 160 Spa Lockers. This enhanced space also introduces a new Multi-Purpose Room adjacent to the kids’ pool area and splash zone. This space will be used as a recreation room with games and kids activities throughout the year. A multipurpose event space and two activity lawns will host a wide spectrum of social events for all ages.

Four New Dining Venues

The Lifestyle & Racquet Center also adds four exciting new restaurants to Boca West’s renowned culinary scene. This brings the total number of on-site dining venues to a perfect ten, including eight dedicated venues (restaurants, bars, and lounges), a pop-up-themed food trailer, and a grab-and-go market, that rivals the nation’s top restaurants. The venues include:

• Market Square, a grab-and-go market café, features a menu with healthy light fare options, including breakfast items, bagel sandwiches, blintzes, soups, salads, and sandwiches. For those with a sweet tooth, Market Square also features baked goods, parfaits your way, and a gelateria featuring Boca West’s OMG house-made gelato. Members enjoy indoor or outdoor seating, with a courtyard café with fountains and lush landscaping.
• Blue Point is a vibrant coastally influenced restaurant with outdoor dining overlooking the Aquatics Center. The 350-seat restaurant will have expanded dining availability with its own modern bar, an open-concept kitchen, a full-service sushi bar, and a wood-fire hearth oven.



• The Cabana Bar and Grill will be a place to enjoy lunch alfresco, drinks poolside, or have weekly barbecue dinners under the stars. The venue features a wraparound terrace overlooking the pools and the golf course.
• Aria Bar & Rooftop is a place for Members to enjoy light bites and handcrafted cocktails by Boca West’s very own mixologist. The expanded bar and lounge features an outdoor rooftop terrace, with seating, bocce ball courts, and nightly entertainment under the stars.

Renovated Spa and Spa Garden

Inspired by the finest European resorts, the 38,000-square-foot Boca West Spa received a $3 million enhancement of its own. The separate men’s and women’s wet areas are Roman in design, where oversized pools are fitted with whirlpool jets and waterfalls that accentuate water’s peaceful powers.
