Experience the Boca Raton

The construction of Boca West Country Club’s Golf & Activities Center was one of the biggest events on everyone’s minds in 2015. The local Club was well known for its commitment to quality and luxury, but how could they possibly improve upon some of the best things they’ve made? The clubhouse’s opening proved that with a high end golf pro shop, and two restaurants. One of them in particular, Prime Cut, caught the eye of many. The renowned steakhouse restaurant style was mixed with modern aesthetics, and the high quality ingredients and educated chefs took it to the next level.

The restaurant’s location within the Golf & Activities Center grants guests an expansive view of one of the Club’s golf courses from the restaurant’s unrepressed windows. Inside, the dark wood paneling on the walls and furniture and romantic lighting hail back to the days of classic steakhouse restaurants, while dashes of lighter colors and sharp shapes add a contemporary edge. And you can’t miss the bar in the middle of the restaurant. Soft lights display the wine cellar’s extensive collection of bottles, and a chandelier illuminates diners as they sip their cocktails.

One glance at the menu shows that the restaurant’s food is as fine as the interior. Words such as ‘USDA Grade’ pop out on the menu, signaling the quality of the ingredients and the dedication that the chefs apply in securing the best to create their delicacies with. Seafood is selected from a few suppliers, ensuring its freshness and delicacy. A dinner like this has to be paired with the right wine. Guests have their selection of over 1,800 wines to choose from, and can receive pairing advice from staff and sommeliers.

Prime Cut

The dining experience is continued at Prime Cut Lounge, where guests can meet with friends to dine on light bites, sip on cocktails and wine, and engage in one of the most upscale dining venues in Boca Raton. Watching the sun slips over the horizon of an expanse of golf course while sampling some of the finest food in the area – that’s the perfect ending to a perfect day.

Prime Cut also hosts exclusive events for members of the Club as well, ranging from live music nights to wine tasting and pairing sessions. Made to expound upon the dining experience, these events help expand the dishes’ flavor profiles while allowing guests to meet and mingle. It’s one of the many amenities and programs that are saved for the members, as are the four on-site golf courses designed by the likes of Arnold Palmer and Pete Dye, the off-site trips that deliver members to thrilling cultural events and unique local landmarks, and some of the most luxurious single-family homes and condominiums in the area. Schedule a tour today to see how the members of Boca West Country Club live – and experience – the every day.

Boca West Realty will also work with outside brokers to facilitate the demand for the wide range of luxury properties in 55 distinct villages. Managing Broker Stephann Cotton and Director of Sales Glen Trotta will oversee daily operations and the expanded services.

The company will be supported by an advanced digital and traditional marketing campaign showcasing the club lifestyle and maintenance-free properties at Boca West. The program will target the influx of buyers to South Florida from the northeastern United States, Canada, and Europe.

“Buyers are flocking to Boca Raton to enjoy the luxurious lifestyle and weather while escaping high taxes in the Northeast and overseas,” said Cotton. “We are also seeing a demand from buyers from Miami-Dade and Broward [counties] who are looking for great schools, lower property taxes, and a higher quality of life.

“With homes ranging from under $300,000 to more than $2 million, there is something for nearly every buyer,” Cotton added. “It’s a matter of personal preference between single family homes, villas, townhomes, condominiums, and the new ultra-luxe residences at Akoya.”

Boca West Realty’s sales team will market the properties through a comprehensive digital and lead generation program. A new Boca West Realty website and a custom-published lifestyle magazine will ensure the Boca West story is appropriately conveyed to buyers, outside brokers and realtors.

Cotton has more than 40 years of industry experience and established Cotton & Company in Stuart, Fla. in 1983 as a sales and marketing firm, specializing in residential and resort real estate. Over the past 30 years, the firm has represented over 1,700 prestigious communities throughout the United States and the Caribbean.

Trotta has more than 20 years of experience in executive roles as the driver of sales/marketing and managing real estate broker for leading national and Florida real estate developers and homebuilders. Throughout his career, he has generated $4 billion in sales with more than 20,000 closed properties.

Cotton and Trotta will be supported by associates Simone Talaia, who joins Boca West Realty from Signature International Realty in Delray Beach, Fla. and Debra Segal, previously with Toll Brothers and SOBELCO, Residences at Banyan Cay in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Boca West CC also announced that it has renewed its long-time partnership with the Evert Tennis Academy, through which the academy’s rising tennis stars and scholars are able to train at Boca West, which has 30 Har-Tru Hydro courts, a U.S. Open Cushion Court, a Tennis Center with stadium seating and eight pickleball courts.

Throughout the year, the two organizations plan joint events, including exhibitions and luncheons with tennis legend Chris Evert.

“We admire the Evert Academy and its commitment to not only tennis but academics,” said Linderman. “Boca West Tennis Director John Joyce has been instrumental in building this collaboration, and we are so proud of his work and our help in fostering these rising tennis stars.”

Added John Evert, the academy’s Director: “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Boca West Country Club. Our students are thrilled to train at such a world-class facility [and] the incredible team at Boca West shares our commitment to excellence.”

Boca West Country Club offers jobs to seven developmentally disabled young adults who graduated from Club’s internship program.

Project Search job-training program is in partnership with Unicorn Children’s Foundation and Unicorn Village Academy.

BOCA RATON, FL, June 6, 2019 – Adults, aged 18 to 24, with intellectual and developmental disabilities graduated last week from an inaugural 10-month internship program at Boca West Country Club during which they trained for the workforce. All of the seven young adults in the program were offered jobs at Boca West following their graduation, serving in the Club’s food and beverage, retail, and golf course maintenance departments.

The internship program is in partnership with Project SEARCH, Unicorn Children’s Foundation and Unicorn Village Academy. Boca West is the only residential club in the world to participate in the Project SEARCH program and the interns learned competitive, transferable, and marketable job skills. The second pre-employment intern class will begin in August.

“This incredible group of individuals became part of the Boca West family. All of them came to work each day with a great attitude and inspiring work ethic, and they became close not only with the staff here but with our members,” said Matthew Linderman, Boca West Country Club President, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager. “We were thrilled to make job offers to all of the graduates and are excited for them to remain on our team.”

“We are so grateful for our partnership with Boca West Country Club, which has transformed the lives of these young adults,” said Sharon Alexander, CEO of the Unicorn Children’s Foundation. “Unfortunately, 68% of adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities are unemployed despite their desire and ability to work. Thanks to this program, these young adults received valuable training and a job. We are so proud of their great work.”

It’s pretty hard to replicate all of the things that make New York what it is. Sure, you can serve pizza or hotdogs, but the vibe of New York is felt more in the location, the décor and the people who are there. Grand Central at Boca West has it all, and members here love it. So how can you take a bite out of the Big Apple at Grand Central? Well, it all starts with the atmosphere.

The first thing that you see when you step inside is the local color and you feel it instantly. The entry way is home to two rows of actual stadium seats from the original Shea Stadium and Yankee Stadium in New York and the walls are covered in authentic memorabilia. You’ll also find old movie posters, photos of celebrities, and signed New York sport team jerseys. It is proof that Grand Central at Boca West connected with our Big Apple roots here. One entire wall replicates a New York City block, with shop windows and signs advertising the food at every station. If you stop by the bar in the middle of the restaurant, you can enjoy a classic Manhattan made by one of the friendly bartenders, or watch the game from one of the 42 TVs that surround the place, not to mention the two 180” video walls.

Grand Central at Boca West can’t be mentioned without zoning in on the food, and there’s plenty of it. Queue up at the Corner Deli for all of the hot sandwiches that you can enjoy. From corned beef, turkey to pastrami, the Club has it the way you want it! Right next door is Nathan’s Hot Dogs, where you can get yours loaded with chili, cheese, sauerkraut, onions, or whatever else that you want. Step on over to The Market next door for cold sandwiches and salads. Right next to there is the piece de resistance – Josie’s Pizza. The options here are endless.

If Members had to describe Grand Central at Boca West, it would be called the Big Apple in Florida. Whatever you’re craving, Grand Central has it here. If you’re looking for a good casual spot to enjoy a meal with family and friends, this is the place to do it. If you want to catch up on the game, just park yourself at the bar in front of the TVs. The best part of Grand Central is that it’s just for the Members of Boca West Country Club. That means that whatever you choose, you’re surrounded by family.
