Walking on Golf Cart Paths

While residents practice social distancing, they are able to take to the outdoor areas of Boca West for their daily walks, to walk a dog, or just to get out of the house to get some exercise and fresh air. Based on the circumstances, the Club is permitting walking on cart paths of the golf courses. Residents are asked to follow a few simple rules but are otherwise permitted to roam the paths to get some much needed fresh air.

Entertainment For Everyone

Social events are the heart of Boca West. While members are not able to gather in person, for now, the Club has been sending out a daily email called “Entertainment for Everyone” with links to virtual events, tours, and more. Known to have a robust calendar of events and activities year-round, the Club always works to ensure that there’s no shortage of activities for members. The Club is also providing various videos of golf tips, fitness tips, spa tips, tennis tips, and shop from home options. For members at Boca West, sheltering in place is not so bad with so many ways to make their time indoors as interesting and productive as possible.

Dance It Out

When in doubt, dance it out! Akoya is keeping its residents moving and connected with weekly dance classes, currently every Tuesday morning. Residents are able to join these classes by just stepping out onto their private terrace overlooking the entrance to Akoya.

Fine Wine At Home

The culinary team at Boca West works year-round to ensure that all of its delicious meals are paired with the right wine. The Club is famous for hosting wine tasting events and keeping an extensive collection. While wine tasting events may be paused, for now, the pantry offers weekly featured wine for residents to place their orders for pick up.

The Pantry: Boca West’s Market-To-Go

Wanting to cook your own meal but don’t want to venture out to your grocery store? Boca West members can call in to place their orders for next day pick up for a variety of different items from the pantry. Members are able to order Milk, Eggs, Fresh Fruit and Veggies, a variation of select meats, toilet paper, and much more. Wishing for a home-cooked meal without all the prep work? Boca West has that covered too. Choose from five different Heat & Eat options. The Boca West Boutique Bakery is also offering five different bread selections including a sugar-free option! Coming soon members will also be able to cook along with Chef Roger as he demonstrates the art of cooking from the comfort of his own home! These meal kits included all the ingredients for two people pre-measured, the recipe for the Meal Step-by-Step instructions and a bottle of wine!

TO-GO Services

Boca West is offering a variety of different food services to its members from prepared meals to supplying all ingredients needed to cook their own dish. Members can get To-Go from Grand Central by selecting items off of the Dinner Specials To-Go menu or all-day menu. The all-day menu features a variety of choices from the Broadway Burgers, Subway Local Greens, Grand Central Favorites, the Fish Boc, Chinatown, Pizza, and a selection from the Deli. The Dinner specials offer a variety of different selection from sea to shore.

While it is an unsettling time in history, the Club invites its members to relax at home and enjoy the simple pleasures it is able to provide to its members. Boca West staff and members are working together to help flatten the curve.
