Boca West Breaks Ground on Course 1 as Part of $95M Investment

Boca West Realty is proud to share that Boca West Country Club has officially broken ground on a major golf course renovation as part of its $95 million capital improvement plan.

The redesigned course, led by Fry/Straka Global Golf Design, is expected to be completed in December 2026. Plans call for a 7,300-yard layout featuring new elevation changes and repositioned hazards designed to enhance strategy while improving playability for golfers of all skill levels.

This transformative project goes beyond the course itself, introducing an expanded golf experience within the community. Enhancements include two on-course hospitality stations, a nine-hole short course with holes ranging from 70 to 110 yards, and a 65,000-square-foot putting green featuring an 18-hole putting course. These new amenities will be located near the Club’s Aquatics Center, creating a more integrated golf and recreation environment.

“Fry/Straka developed this plan to deliver a reimagined golf experience with amenities that position Boca West for the future,” said Matthew Linderman, CCM, President, COO and General Manager of Boca West Country Club.

“Redesigning Course 1 presents a tremendous opportunity for Boca West to enhance one of its premier golf courses while introducing entirely new ways to experience the game,” said Dana Fry and Jason Straka of Fry/Straka Global Golf Design. “The updated routing also allows for the addition of both a short course and a putting course, creating a range of golf experiences for players of all skill levels.”
